Hi, I’m Andrew, the business coach for financial advice businesses.

So here’s the thing, working ‘on the business’ by not constantly being stuck ‘in the business’ can feel like a distant dream. I know because I’ve been there. With over 20 years of working as a financial adviser myself, I know what it’s like to go into a new year with a long list of actions that you hope to implement to improve the experience for your people and clients and ultimately bust your ceilings when it comes to businesses performance.  

But client work and deadlines always take priority.

For many small business owners who are wearing multiple hats and juggling the day-to-day, working on the business feels like a luxury rather than a necessity, and knowing how to do it simply and efficiently is often where my clients feel overwhelmed.

That’s where I come in to help, and why I can certainly help you identify and tackle the roadblocks to high performance that you’re facing.

In the time we’ll work together, here’s what I’ll help you improve:

Vision & Planning– this starts with defining your businesses goals. What does success look like in five years? Things change year-on-year, for this reason, I prefer to help clients implement annual business plans that break down your ultimate vision into SMART actionable goals.

Clients – happy, loyal clients that return to you time again will not only make a great name for you in the industry but will also mean less time looking for leads. By ensuring that your client experience is second-to-none, I’ll help ensure that your offer is strong, valuable and profitable.

People – many practitioners spend majority of their time on their clients. What about your “people strategy”?  Creating a culture that’s conducive to high output means ensuring that staff morale is high, people are clear on their priorities and the right skills are being employed for the job. I’ll work closely with your teams to help the business create an effective “people strategy”.

Process – inefficiencies, double-ups, work-flow management, paper-based applications or poor portfolio management can be slowing your team down. It can all take time trying to find which areas are hindering rather than helping. I’ve guided multiple businesses in pinpointing which processes can be quickly adjusted to serve clients efficiently.

And finally, Performance – whether your goal is to increase profitability or improve on any of the areas above – however you define success, I’ll be working closely with you to make the journey to increased business performance one that is simple, logical, actionable and certainly not as lonely as trying to figure it out alone.
